The tournament raised its curtain on 2nd May afternoon, at the Track and Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex, Berakas. It is organised by Yakin Football League and sponsored by Bravo Auto Sendirian Berhad.

It was officiated by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Haji Abu Bakar. The opening match featured Gergasi FC and Supa Strikas, in which Gergasi FC recorded a 4-nil win.
